Some things to keep in mind when using bedroom lights

Bedroom lights are considered the main energy source of the room, can promote feng shui very well, but if used incorrectly, they will affect the sleep of family members. Here are some things to keep in mind when using lights for the bedroom.

Installation location

Do not hang the lamp right above the bed or on the ceiling, because it is not good for health but also creates an unsafe feeling, especially interior lights or lanterns that often have to be designed with racks. Hanging such lights also violates the taboo in feng shui “cross-beam over the bed” will not be good. Hanging lights in this position also increases psychological pressure, easily causing health problems such as insomnia, nightmares, poor breathing… If the design of the room does not allow it, choose the type. Attach it to the wall or move the bed out. The ceiling space above the bed should be airy, so a soft light night light should be placed next to the bed.

Choose the right lamp size

Before choosing to buy decorative lights, pay attention to the size of the lights, choose to match the bedroom interior and the area of the room. In addition, with large bedrooms, you should choose a chandelier to let the light spread throughout the room. For small bedrooms, choose a chandelier with a small size.

Choose a lamp with a custom mode

Choosing the best bedroom decoration lamp is the one that can customize the light according to the mood and conditions of use. Be careful not to choose too bright a shadow, just let the light be at a gentle and soft level so that the room is suitable for its resting function. The number of lights in the bedroom is usually 1 and 6 which will bring good luck to the family.

Matching colors

Light is very important in the bedroom, especially for the bedroom of a young couple, it creates a romantic space, making an important contribution to keeping the family happy. Although most yellow and pink night lights are good, you can also choose colors according to the network for better feng shui. For example, in the element of Wood, the lights are inclined to green, Earth (yellow), Thuy (black), Fire (red), Kim (white).

Bedroom chandelier design

The shape of the decorative lights for the bedroom is best to choose round or square. In feng shui, strangely shaped night lights often have bad intentions and have a bad influence on the homeowner. For example, around high-end decorative lamp model implies auspicious, like a stable home, while triangular or polygonal pendant lights can form a “sightly” position, adversely affecting the owner’s psychology. . Also avoid using night lights with animal shapes, creating insecurity for sleep.

A small note, a modern bedroom needs to balance both outdoor light and artificial light, combining these two things, the room will have perfect light and be good for health.

How to Test a Relay with Multimeter?

Relays are discrete devices (as opposed to integrated circuits) that are used to allow a low power logic signal to control a much higher power circuit. The relay isolates the high power circuit, helping to protect the lower power circuit by providing a small electromagnetic coil for the logic circuit to control. You can learn how to test both coil and solid-state relays.

Getting Started

1. Consult the relay schematic or datasheet. Relays have fairly standard pin configurations, but it is best to search for the data sheets to find out more about the number of pins from the manufacturer, if available. Typically, these will be printed on the relay.

Information on current and voltage ratings, pin configurations, and other information that are sometimes available in the datasheets will be invaluable in testing and eliminate most errors associated with testing. Testing pins randomly without knowing the pin configuration is possible, but if the relay is damaged, results may be unpredictable.

Some relays, depending on their size, may also have this information printed directly on the body of the relay as well.

2. Do a basic visual inspection of the relay. Many relays have a clear plastic shell containing the coil and contacts. Visible damage (melting, blackening, etc) will help narrow down the issue.

Most modern relays have an LED to tell you if they are in the active state (ON). If that light is off and you’ve got control voltage to the relay or coil terminals (typically A1[line] and A2 [common]) then you can safely assume that relay is bad.

3. Disconnect the power source. Any electrical work should be done with all power sources disconnected, including batteries and line voltage.[3] Be especially mindful of capacitors in the circuit, as they can hold a charge for a considerable length of time after removing the power source. Do not short capacitor terminals to discharge.

It is best to check your local laws before performing any electrical work, and if you feel unsafe, leave it to the professionals. Extra-low voltage work typically will not fall under this requirement, but it’s still important to be safe.

Testing Coil Relays

1. Determine the coil requirements of the relay. The manufacturer’s part number should be listed on the case of the relay. Look up the applicable datasheet and determine the voltage and current requirements of the control coil. This also may be printed on the case of larger relays.

2. Find out if the control coil is diode protected. A diode around the pole is often used to protect the logic circuitry from damage due to noise spikes. The diode will be shown on drawings as a triangle with a bar across one corner of the triangle. The bar will be connected to the input, or positive connection, of the control coil.

3. Assess the contact configuration of the relay. This will also be available from the manufacturer’s datasheet or may be printed on the case of larger relays. Relays may have one or more poles, indicated in drawings by a single line switch connected to a pin of the relay.

Each pole may have a normally open (NO) and or normally closed (NC) contact. The drawings will indicate these contacts as connections with a pin on the relay.

The relay drawings will show each pole as either touching the pin, indicating an NC contact, or not touching the pin, indicating a NO contact.

4. Test the de-energized condition of the relay contacts. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) to test the resistance between each pole of the relay and the corresponding NC and NO contacts for that pole. All NC contacts should read 0 ohms to the corresponding pole. All NO contacts should read infinite resistance to the corresponding pole.

5. Energize the relay. Use an independent voltage source appropriate for the rating of the relay coil. If the relay coil is diode protected, make sure that the independent voltage source is connected with the proper polarity. Listen for a click when the relay is energized.

6. Check the energized condition of the relay contacts. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) to test the resistance between each pole of the relay and the corresponding NC and NO contacts for that pole. All NC contacts should read infinite resistance to the corresponding pole. All NO contacts should read 0 ohms to the corresponding pole.

Testing Solid-State Relays

1. Use an ohmmeter to check solid-state relays. When solid-state relays start to short, they will almost always fail. Solid-state relays should be checked with an ohmmeter across the normally open (N.O.) terminals when control power is off.

The relays should be open, switched to OL, and closed (0.2, the internal resistance of the ohmmeter) when control power is applied.

2. Use a multi-meter in diode-test mode to confirm your findings. You can further confirm that the relay is bad by taking a multi-meter, putting it in the diode test, and checking across A1(+) and A2(-). The meter will apply a small voltage to make the semiconductor conduct and read that voltage on the screen. This will check the (typically NPN) transistor from the base(P) to the… emitter.

If it’s bad, the meter will read 0 or OL, but if the relay is good it will read 0.7 for a silicon transistor (which almost all of them are) or 0.5 for a germanium transistor (which are relatively rare but not unheard of).

3. Keep SSRs cool. Solid-state relays are easy to troubleshoot, cheap to replace, and last a long time if they stay cool. Typically, new relays come in DIN rail packages and block mountings.

There is also a special type of relay called an SCR that comes in two flavors for heating wires and IR lamps and ovens, usually for exquisite process temperature control. This is basically a fast switch on a much faster switch that can turn off and on, which fail often due to temperature fluctuations.

Winter is here!!

To most of the people out there, this is the time of joy, the time to celebrate a new year. Now, as the only male in a family of six, trust me when I say that I understand how tough it is to care for the baby during this time of the year. It’s even worse if you are in it for the first time.

We all know that the baby is such a fragile creature. They won’t eat, play, or even sleep if there is something bugging them. How funny when people try to invent a dog’s translator when there is none for a baby.

But hey, we are here to share the tricks. 99% of the time the infant is annoying just simply because the sensation is wrong. That’s why they won’t let go of their mother, that’s why moms get exhausted carrying the little devil all day. What to do? Get them something that can provide the gentleness and the comfort to soothe the baby, so their mother can be free for a sec.

There you go, I have the best honest review of baby swing in hand, go check them out.

Some of you might say “hey, I sleep with the baby just fine.” Come on, then how could the baby swing is a must-have of every single family in this country? Sleeping with the baby is as good as sleeping with a ton of diamonds which could be vaporized any second. I watched my mom jolted up every 10 minutes sleeping with my sister in the hospital bed. I hope I have made some sense.

Now, down to the second big matter: the mother’s sleep. You bet, we do have a treat. This product has helped my mom recover rapidly after giving birth. It’s all-natural and absolutely no side effects. That’s not all, the dose is just strong enough to pair you with the sleeping god but he won’t hold you there, up in the sky. You will still able to wake up in case of an emergency with no headache, no dried throat.

The drowsiness would still linger a little depending on how many sleep hours you got under your belly. Well, nothing is perfect, but this thing is the closest. Check out Unisom SleepGels, Nighttime Sleep-aid, Diphenhydramine HCI, 100 SoftGels. I hope it helps. 🙂

Do Baby Swings cause brain damaged?

Is baby swing necessary?

While the world is busy dealing with many issues due to the Coronavirus, the race to the presidency is slowly coming to an end in America. My family is receiving the good news that my cousin Daisy will give birth the end of February.

Daisy asked me about a hundred questions about the list of must-have for a baby. She reminded me about my pregnancy, and I would like to share with her as well as new mothers out there about that beautiful period.

On the blog today, I would like to write about baby swings. New parents usually concern, “Is a baby swing necessary?” A baby swing keeps calm your infant and becomes an effective supporter for parents. Your baby will love it.

With various designs and functions, a baby swing helps keep your child in a comfortable position instead of letting the baby lay down too much in a baby crib or a play mat. Do not worry about making your place become a daycare center; it is good to have all of them. In case you do not want to let your child on the ground and let he/she get more entertainment while you are doing something else, a baby swing is a better choice than a play mat.

Besides, multi-functions baby swings is a smart choice for who has a small space. They also help parents save money on special occasions when they need to travel with the child. Or a portable one can be a good option, with a half-full size and parents can take it and the baby everywhere in a flat. It can be folded to store in a closet easily. Even the article about Top 10 Best baby swings for big babies can also help you find which baby swings can hold the most weight.

In my opinion, the baby swing is super necessary and useful when my boy wanted to rock while sleeping. A baby swing to help sleeping. He could sleep a few hours on a swing. And Tom let me free to do house works while he looked at those toys hanging above. A baby swing can be a “massage chair” because it can vibrate, swing side to side or front to back.

Sometimes, Tom could sleep on a baby swing while Jonathan or I rest on a couch. Super convenience!

In the beginning, we borrowed a baby swing from Jonathan’s friend to checked if Tom really likes it. In the end, Tom got into it easily, and we decided to buy a new one for him. Parents can borrow or buy a used baby swing to try before deciding to invest in a super comfort baby swings. It is absolutely worthy.

I hope my sharing can help you answer the question, “is a baby swing necessary?” 😉

How to decorate a cool boy room

This month my wife and I come up with an idea to upgrade our boy room to the next level. Soon Tom is turning to five years old in October, and that’s the reason why we would like to renew the room for his birthday gift.

First of all, we want to check which color is Tom favorite. And actually, Tom seems does not care about the color; for him, they are no privilege. We usually think blue is the right color for a boy room, but after checking a ton of articles on the internet, we found out grey or beige is also the right choice.

Marie would like to paint the room with a light color so we can make the room look a little bit bigger with beige, then we draw some starts on the wall with gray and black paint and a piece of skyscraper art as a backdrop for the room. We found out this is a good idea to make something new for your children out of an old space.

how to decor boys room

Near the window, we use a closet to keep all of his clothes. We keep toys on display because Tom is still a boy; the toys are going to be replaced by the other stuffs when he grows up.

Tom is always interested in animals, so we also hang on a lot of pictures of some pets like dogs, cats, bears, and monkeys on the opposite wall.

For the bedside desk, we put a global on and one Lampe. For besides the table, we found it’s easier to use the white color for many purposes of decorating. Even when he has already grown up, we still can use that for our second child.

We also change the cover for beds and curtain to a light shade of blue and brown.

Still early for Tom now to get used to with a study desk and chair. But Marie and I decided to keep a space for this purpose, so we put a sofa in that position. It’s more convenient for us to rest, and the couch also an excellent closet to keep Tom season outfits. He is growing so fast that almost the clothes become tighter after a few months. And every space becomes smaller to him.

We are still working on renovation the room for Tom, and we hope that he will like that. If you have more ideas and you would like to share with us, please do not hesitate to leave us a message or a comment on this blog 😉

Summer memories

Summer is always the best time of the year for me. When I was 12 years old, my parents moved to Vietnam because of my dad’s work. I stayed there for three years; then, we moved back to Germany. It was not a long time, but I always remember the summer memories in the tropical country, bright colors, heat of the sun, flavor, and taste of tropical fruits.

I was into Vietnamese street foods every afternoon, Tom – my neighbor – and me, we went to the big river of the city to fly skies, pick up some sour mangos, fresh watermelon with chili salt before come home for dinner.

Growing Flower at home

Now, it’s just memories. This year, because of the Coronavirus, we stayed at home almost the time. My son – Tom – named after my favorite friend of my childhood – is four years old now. My wife and I want to create some pleasant summer memories for our son; we decided to make a small garden backyard and let my son join the project.

Tom was excited in his very first project; tiny fingers touched everything. We want to grow some veggies for our family, some flowers, some cactus while Tom just wanted to play with water from the tub backyard after 3 minutes joining the project.

We bought to earth from a local flower shop, one for flowers, and one for vegetables. Maries – my wife – would like to have some lavender pots; she loves the flagrant of the charming purple flower. We bought three small lavender pots from the store and moved them together to a new bigger pool.

I love salad, and Tom loves Spinach. Let tried to grow some greenie at home. I hope our little garden will not be bothered by snail – the most enemies of salad. I put some seeds on the hole after fill pots with special earth for vegies, while Tom helped me to water them.

Cactus Houseplant Collection Decoration Set

Marie was happy with her lavender and cactus corner, while Tom and I were satisfied with our salad pots. I hope we can harvest them one day. After finishing the project, we have dinner with some fresh salad cost 2 euro per package, backed French baguette, and Morazela cheese, watching Start war together. I’m happy because my son also loves this series. I watched Star war for the first time with my parents. My dad is also a big fan of Stars war, now the club has a new member named Tom. 😉
